1969 Datsun 510

I owned this car from 1984 to 1992. Here are some of the modifications I made:

  • Instruments/dash from a 1970 model
  • L-16/SSS
  • 2000 Roadster 5-speed
  • 240Z front seats
  • Center console from a Datsun 710 (I think)
  • Door hand pulls/arm rests from an old Volvo
  • Custom made in-hood NACA duct (had a TO4 turbo setup for a while)
  • Real Empi 13x5.5 wheels
  • Cut springs f/r, (I know, I know, but it worked well for me...)
  • Addco sway bars, 1" - front, 3/4" - back
  • E-brake from (yikes) a Toyota Corolla on the trans tunnel
